I am qualified and registered social worker and have been practicing since 1991 doing statutory work, working in the private welfare organisations and community development.Mt credentials are : BA Social Work ( 1981.) ;MA Social Work UNISA (1999 ) M PHIL Employment Relations (2000) I have a special interest in: marital counselling, predivorce, divorce and post-divorce counselling, family therapy, group therapy ,crisis intervention ,community development, motivational and public speaking, mentoring and reports for courts. I have conducted therapeutic group work. I have vast experience in working across the sectors that strengthens my networking systems and provides me with knowledge of the referral structures, resources and systems. My strength is in working with people and listening and facilitating problem solving. I believe in the principles of confidentiality, non-judgemental attitude, and self-determination. I believe that people can develop and change under the influence and support of others. In doing work I am guided by social work the code of ethics.
